This week in Preschool we are reading the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and doing projects corresponding to the book. Today we made a hand print coconut tree. We also played a matching game with lower case and capital letters. 

The children have also been enjoying time outside. Tomorrow we will be going on a nature walk. The children will be making hats before their walk, and then making books on their return. We will end the week with going to the library for story hour and practicing our letters and numbers.

Toddler News

Hello and good afternoon parents of the toddler room. This week we are learning about the color blue and circles. The children have been doing amazing with their colors and shapes.

We have lots of fun projects planned for the week. Today the children finger painted with blue Jell-O. They all had lots of fun but were a little blue when it was time to clean up.

We have spent a lot of time outside yesterday and today and hope to spend lots more time outside throughout the week. This week has been nice weather but I think a little too hot too fast. We have also been able to enjoy the new grassy play area, which the children love.

I’m sorry we have not had pictures lately, but we hope to have lots of pictures on Friday’s post. 

We are looking forward to our field trip next Tuesday to the Green Meadows Petting Farm.
